TWICE's Unit MISAMO Makes History with Record-Breaking Tokyo Dome Performance

MISAMO, the first subunit of the globally renowned K-pop group TWICE, consisting of members Mina, Sana, and Momo, has made history by becoming the fastest female artist unit to perform at the iconic Tokyo Dome. Their debut at this prestigious venue came just a year and six months after their local debut in Japan with the mini-album 'Masterpiece' in July 2023. The duo performed on the 15th and 16th as part of their 'MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 HAUTE COUTURE', marking a significant achievement in their careers.

Prior to their Tokyo Dome concerts, MISAMO had already captivated a total of 250,000 fans during their first dome tour, performing at the Saitama Belluna Dome and Osaka Kyocera Dome in November last year. Their performances, ranging from their debut Japanese single 'Do not touch' to tracks from their second mini-album 'HAUTE COUTURE', were met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Highlights included the title track 'Identity', a cover of Amuro Namie's 'NEW LOOK', and the debut of 'Catch My Eye' at the Tokyo Dome, which sent fans into a frenzy.

MISAMO also showcased their creativity and dedication by performing 'RUNWAY' on a runway stage and implementing unique ideas to connect more closely with the audience. The members expressed their gratitude and amazement at achieving such a milestone, emphasizing the support of their fans, ONCE, as a pivotal factor in their journey. They shared heartfelt messages, reflecting on the surreal experience of standing on the Tokyo Dome stage, not just as members of TWICE but as MISAMO, making this achievement a memorable and significant moment in their careers.
