TWICE's Jihyo Shows Heart of Gold with Generous Donation for Wildfire Victims
TWICE's Jihyo has once again demonstrated her compassionate spirit by donating 50 million KRW (approximately $38,000) to aid the recovery efforts for victims of the recent wildfires in South Korea's Yeongnam region. The donation, made through the Korean Welfare Foundation, aims to support those who have lost their homes and to assist in the relief operations.
Jihyo expressed her hopes for a swift recovery for the affected families and gratitude towards the firefighters and volunteers working tirelessly on the front lines. This act of kindness is not her first; in February 2023, she and her TWICE bandmates collectively donated 200 million KRW to help children and families impacted by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
Aside from her philanthropic efforts, TWICE is gearing up for an exciting schedule. The group is set to perform as special guests at Coldplay's 'Music Of The Spheres World Tour' in Goyang this April, release their fifth Japanese best album '#TWICE5' on May 14, and headline at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 2, marking another milestone in their global influence.
