TWICE's Jihyo Makes Generous Donation to Support Wildfire Victims in Yeongnam
TWICE's Jihyo has stepped forward with a heartfelt donation to support the victims of the recent wildfires in the Yeongnam region. On the 26th, she contributed 50 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea, aiming to assist in the recovery efforts for those who lost their homes and to support the relief operations.
Through her agency, JYP Entertainment, Jihyo expressed her wishes for a swift recovery for all affected by the disaster and extended her gratitude to the firefighters and relief workers for their dedication. This act of kindness is not her first; in February 2023, Jihyo, along with her TWICE bandmates, donated 200 million KRW to aid children and families affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
In other news, TWICE is set to make waves internationally as special guests at Coldplay's 'Music Of The Spheres World Tour' in Goyang this April. The group will also release their Japan best album '#TWICE5' on May 14 and perform at the renowned Lollapalooza Chicago festival on August 2, marking another milestone in their global music journey.
