TWICE's First Unit MISAMO Makes History at Tokyo Dome
TWICE's first subunit, MISAMO, consisting of members Mina, Sana, and Momo, has made history by becoming the fastest female artists to perform at the Tokyo Dome. They recently completed their first dome tour, 'MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 'OTOU Couture'', with a total of six shows across three Japanese cities, including Tokyo, Saitama, and Osaka. This remarkable achievement comes just a year and a half after their local debut with the mini-album 'Masterpiece' in July 2023.
The tour attracted a total of 250,000 fans, showcasing MISAMO's immense popularity. Their performances featured a mix of tracks from their debut album, including the hit 'Do Not Touch', and their second mini-album's title track 'Identity'. A special cover of Amuro Namie's 'New Look' also thrilled the audience, alongside the debut of a new song, 'Catch My Eye', which was first performed at the Tokyo Dome concerts.
MISAMO also captivated fans with a unique runway performance, adding a memorable twist to their show. The members expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards their fans, known as ONCE, for making this dream a reality and shared how performing as MISAMO at the Tokyo Dome was an unforgettable and meaningful experience.
