TWICE's First Unit MISAMO Breaks Records with Historic Dome Tour in Japan
TWICE's first subunit, MISAMO, has successfully concluded their debut dome tour in Japan, setting a new record for the fastest time a female artist has performed at Tokyo Dome. The tour, titled 'MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 "HAUTE COUTURE"', spanned across three cities in Japan with a total of six performances, drawing in a massive audience of 250,000 fans.
Making their mark just a year and six months after debuting in Japan with their first mini album 'Masterpiece', MISAMO's achievement is a testament to their skyrocketing popularity. Their performances at Tokyo Dome featured tracks from their second mini album 'HAUTE COUTURE', including the debut song 'Do not touch', and captivated fans with special stages such as 'Identity' and a cover of Amuro Namie's 'NEW LOOK'. The premiere of 'Catch My Eye' at Tokyo Dome was particularly memorable, thrilling fans with its first-ever live performance.
Expressing their heartfelt gratitude, the members shared, "Standing on the Tokyo Dome stage as TWICE felt like a dream, but we never imagined we'd return as MISAMO. Thanks to ONCE (TWICE's fans), we've had an incredible experience. This tour was a first for MISAMO, and it will remain a meaningful memory. We're truly thankful."
