SM Entertainment Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Star-Studded SMTOWN Album
SM Entertainment is celebrating its 30th anniversary in a grand style by releasing a special SMTOWN album titled '2025 SMTOWN : THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE' on February 14th at 6 PM. This album, the first group project from SM in over two years, features the new group song 'Thank You' and includes 17 tracks of remade hits by SM artists, showcasing the label's vast musical spectrum.
Artists have reinterpreted each other's songs, blending their unique styles and musical flavors. Highlights include Kangta covering S.E.S.'s 'Just A Feeling', BoA singing SHINee Jonghyun's 'End Of A Day', TVXQ reimagining Red Velvet's 'Psycho', and Super Junior taking on Shinhwa's 'I Pray 4 U'. Girls' Generation, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT units, aespa, and Riize also participate, covering classics from fellow SM artists like f(x)'s 'Rum Pum Pum Pum' and TVXQ's 'Hug'.
Adding to the album's diversity, SM's dance music label ScreaM Records and classical & jazz label SM Classics have contributed their unique takes on SHINee's 'View' and BoA's 'My Name', respectively. This album not only celebrates SM's rich history but also looks forward to its future, promising a musical journey that transcends time with its timeless hits and fresh interpretations.
