SM Classics to Host First Orchestra Concert Featuring Red Velvet's Hits

SM Classics, the classical and jazz label under SM Entertainment, is set to host its first orchestra concert, marking a significant milestone in celebrating SM's 30th anniversary. Titled 'SM Classics Live 2025', the event will take place on February 14th and 15th at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall and Lotte Concert Hall, respectively. This concert is anticipated to draw significant attention as it features orchestral versions of beloved K-pop hits, including Red Velvet's 'Red Flavor' and 'Feel My Rhythm', alongside a total of 14 orchestrated tracks from SM's extensive repertoire.

Collaborating with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, SM Classics aims to offer a fresh and profound musical experience by blending classical music with K-pop. The concert will also feature special appearances, with SHINee's Minho as the opening narrator for both days and Red Velvet's Wendy joining as a guest performer on the 15th, alongside conductor Kim Yoo-won and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Additionally, the February 14th performance will include media art displays, enhancing the visual and auditory experience for the audience.

Tickets for the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall will go on sale on January 21st at 11 AM, followed by the Lotte Concert Hall on January 22nd at the same time. Details on ticket sales and further information can be found on SMTOWN's official SNS channels.

Following this event, SM Classics plans to expand its original IP globally, launching performance and sheet music licensing businesses, starting with 'SM Classics Live 2025'. This initiative underscores SM's commitment to innovating and diversifying its musical offerings, promising to bring its unique blend of classical and pop music to a worldwide audience.
