NMIXX Kicks Off 2025 with a Bang: Sold-Out Japan Concerts and Global Expansion
NMIXX has started 2025 with a bang, showcasing their unstoppable momentum with two sold-out fan concerts in Japan. The group, consisting of members LILY, Haewon, Sullyoon, BAE, Jiwoo, and Kyujin, performed at the Lalaport Arena Tokyo Bay on the 11th and 12th, marking their first solo concerts in Japan. This significant event saw them meet over 21,300 fans across two days, delivering high-quality performances that left the audience in awe.
Opening the concert with 'Run For Roses', NMIXX captivated fans with performances of their hit songs including 'Soñar (Breaker)', 'Young, Dumb, Stupid', 'DASH', and 'See that?'. A highlight of the concert was their cover of 'Marigold' by Japanese singer-songwriter Aimyon, alongside various engaging game corners that added to the fun.
The members expressed their gratitude, saying, 'We are thrilled to start the year with NSWER (their fandom name). It feels like a New Year's wish has already come true, and we are happy. Thanks to everyone's support, we feel like we can do anything. Thank you.'
Looking ahead, NMIXX is set to continue their global expansion with their second fan concert in Latin America in February. They will perform in Mexico City, Santiago, and São Paulo, showcasing the presence of the 'hexagonal girl group'.
NMIXX has been making waves internationally, becoming the first K-pop artist to participate as a panelist at the Billboard Latin Music Week last October. Recently, they gained recognition as the first K-pop girl group to be featured on NPR Music's main YouTube channel through their 'Tiny Desk Korea' performance, further cementing their worldwide appeal.
