LE SSERAFIM has joined forces with Google Android for an exciting new project. During a live broadcast on Na Young-seok PD's YouTube channel 'Channel Fifteen Nights,' the group—comprising members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae—shared some thrilling news. They revealed that the music video for their track 'Come Over' is set to be released soon, produced in collaboration with Google Android. The members expressed their joy in filming the project, hinting at a fun and engaging visual experience for fans.
'Come Over' is a track from LE SSERAFIM's fifth mini-album 'HOT,' which dropped on the 14th. The song has already garnered significant global attention, thanks to the participation of members from the renowned British band Jungle, J Lloyd and Lydia Kitto. The track encourages listeners to embrace their current emotions and enjoy the moment by dancing together, blending Jungle's signature vintage and dreamy vibes with LE SSERAFIM's harmonious vocals to amplify the song's charm.
Despite being a B-side track, 'Come Over' made a remarkable impact, climbing to the 27th spot on Spotify's Korea 'Daily Top Songs' chart as of March 19. It also achieved global recognition, ranking 165th on the US 'Daily Top Songs' and 168th on Japan's chart, showcasing LE SSERAFIM's widespread appeal.
This collaboration is part of LE SSERAFIM's broader strategy to partner with global brands, further cementing their status as a 'world-class' act. Another track from the mini-album, 'So Cynical (Badum),' was featured in Blizzard Entertainment's team-based free-to-play action game 'Overwatch 2,' with a snippet released in the game's trailer ahead of the official album launch.
LE SSERAFIM's latest album 'HOT' has also made waves on the Billboard charts, debuting at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 as of March 29. This achievement marks the group as the only fourth-generation K-pop girl group to consecutively place in the top 10 of the chart four times. While the title track didn't make it onto the main 'Hot 100' chart, it secured the 9th position on the 'Bubbling Under Hot 100,' highlighting the group's growing international influence.
