K-Pop Stars Shine in the 1st D Awards Lineup Reveal
The excitement for the '1st D Awards' is building up as the second lineup of performers has been unveiled, promising a night filled with stellar performances from some of the biggest names in K-Pop. The organizing committee announced on the 13th that N.Flying, P1Harmony, tripleS, ZEROBASEONE, and 82MAJOR will be gracing the stage, among others.
N.Flying, known for their hit 'Rooftop', continues to captivate fans with their musical prowess, especially after the success of 'Blue Moon' and the popularity of leader Lee Seung Hyub's drama 'Sunjae, Climb Up and Run'. Despite member Kim Jae Hyun's military service, the band is set to deliver a memorable performance.
P1Harmony has made waves globally with their albums 'Killin' It' and 'SAD SONG', achieving their highest ranking yet on the Billboard 200. Their dynamic team chemistry has also earned them accolades, including a spot in Consequence's '2024 K-pop Yearbook'.
tripleS, the 'idol of all possibilities', has proven their versatility and talent, with their album 'ASSEMBLE 24' being recognized by NME as one of the top 50 albums of 2024. Their hit 'Girls Never Die' has solidified their place in the K-Pop scene.
ZEROBASEONE, leading the charge as 5th generation idols, has achieved remarkable success with their albums and singles, becoming the first K-Pop group to sell over a million copies of their debut album on the day of release. Their 'Timeless World' world tour brought them face-to-face with 140,000 fans globally.
82MAJOR, the hottest rookie of the past year, is set to make their awards show debut. With their debut in October 2023, they've quickly risen through the ranks, earning spots on the Billboard Album Sales and Global Top 150 Independent Airplay charts, thanks to their hit 'Stuck'.
Following the announcement of the first lineup, including ENHYPEN, FIFTYFIFTY, QWER, TWS, and UNIS, the addition of these five teams completes a robust roster of performers for the 1st D Awards, set to take place on February 22nd at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul.
