IU Apologizes to IVE for Past Cancellation, Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Story

In a recent episode of her YouTube series 'IU's Palette', IU extended a heartfelt apology to the younger group IVE for a past cancellation. The episode, titled 'With IVE', marked the first time IU and IVE had the chance to interact and share stories, despite using the same management company.

IU revealed a behind-the-scenes story about a planned appearance by IVE on her show that had to be canceled due to her high fever. 'I really wanted to have IVE on the show earlier. There was a plan for it. But I have to apologize once again for the cancellation,' IU said, bowing deeply as a sign of her sincerity. She explained that the incident was a first for her during the filming of 'Palette', expressing how sorry she felt for having to cancel due to her health condition.

Wonyoung of IVE responded warmly, sharing that their main concern at the time was IU's health. IU concluded by reflecting on the incident as one of her regrets of 2024, highlighting the respect and camaraderie between the artists despite the challenges.
