The group, consisting of members Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha, shared a snippet of the song on TikTok, capturing hearts with their sweet visuals and the song's charming melody. The track, which expresses heartfelt emotions towards a beloved, was co-produced by Nakajin, the leader of Japanese band SEKAI NO OWARI, and Pdogg, known for hits like 'Spring Day' and 'Dynamite'.

'Almond Chocolate' is specially crafted for the movie 'I Don't Like You Just Because You're Handsome', based on a popular manga. The movie, set to release on March 7, tells the story of a female protagonist in love with a handsome senior. With ILLIT, dubbed as the 'Z-generation icon', lending their voice to the movie's theme song, positive synergy is anticipated. The full song will be released on February 14, just in time for Valentine's Day, promising to be the perfect season song.
