Go Na Young Drops New Synth-Pop Anthem 'Hope Island'

Singer Go Na Young has embarked on a new musical journey with her latest track, 'Hope Island', released on the 25th. This synth-pop song captures the essence of embarking on a new beginning and the journey towards hope. It portrays the exhilarating moment of reaching 'Hope Island', a metaphorical place where one can soar beyond limits, encapsulating the feeling of freedom in its melody.

The song features a blend of synths and strings, with an addictive chorus that elevates the emotional depth of the track. Notably, Melanie Fontana, a singer-songwriter who has contributed to several BTS songs, including 'The Little Things', and has worked with artists like TWICE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, and I.O.I, participated in composing this track. Fontana tailored the song to Go Na Young's bright and mystical vocal tone, completing both Korean and English versions. Go Na Young, a graduate of Ewha Womans University's English Literature department, effortlessly recorded the English version, showcasing her near-native fluency.

The lyrics, which speak of flying to 'Hope Island' with a new feeling, where anything is possible and stars pour down, combined with Go Na Young's bright and refreshing vocal tone, deliver a musical joy. Beyond her music career, Go Na Young has also been active as an actress, appearing in dramas such as 'Accidental Family' and 'Wise Doctor Life Season 2'. She is currently filming a short drama by a renowned director and is set to appear in a new project by an internationally acclaimed director, promising a year full of vibrant activities both as a singer and actress.
