In a heartwarming display of solidarity, BTS's Suga, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, and Red Velvet's Seulgi have stepped forward to support the victims of the recent wildfires in South Korea. The Korean Red Cross announced that Suga donated 100 million won (approximately $85,000) to assist affected residents with essential supplies like food, beverages, and daily necessities. Taeyeon matched this generosity, contributing the same amount to help those struggling through these challenging times, including evacuees, firefighters, and rescue workers. Seulgi also joined the cause, donating 100 million won, expressing her sorrow for the victims whose lives and livelihoods have been disrupted by the unexpected disaster.

The wildfires, which began in Sancheong, South Gyeongsang Province on the 21st, rapidly spread to nearby areas including Gyeongbuk and Ulsan due to strong winds and dry conditions. Firefighting efforts continue a week later, with the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters reporting 26 fatalities, 8 severe injuries, and 22 minor injuries, alongside 37,185 displaced individuals.

These donations highlight the KPOP community's commitment to giving back during crises, offering hope and practical aid to those in need.
