BTS's Jin Showcases Culinary Skills and Wit in Latest 'Run BTS' Episode
BTS's Jin recently showcased his impressive cooking skills and entertaining personality in the 18th episode of the group's variety show, 'Run BTS.' The episode, which aired on the BTS YouTube channel, featured Jin and model-TV personality Hong Jin Kyung preparing a special Korean meal to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The duo took on the challenge of making traditional Korean dishes such as japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), galbi (grilled ribs), and ssamjang (a spicy dipping sauce), aiming to introduce these dishes to international fans, known as ARMY.
Jin, who revealed that he cooks and eats 80% of his meals, demonstrated his culinary prowess by expertly preparing each dish. His charm and wit were on full display when Hong Jin Kyung complimented his looks, to which Jin humorously agreed. The episode was filled with laughter, especially when Hong Jin Kyung admitted she secretly joined the shoot despite her daughter, a huge fan of Jin, being against it, fearing a 'family feud.' Jin quickly diffused the situation with his quick wit, adding to the episode's light-hearted atmosphere.
The fun continued with games where Jin and Hong Jin Kyung mimicked animals like magpies, hamsters, and gorillas, bringing more laughter. In a heartwarming gesture, Jin donated his game winnings to Hong Jin Kyung's daughter, accompanied by a sweet note. The episode concluded with the delivery of their homemade lunch to chef Baek Jong Won and actor Lee Yi Kyung, close friends of Jin, who shared photos and videos in appreciation of the thoughtful gesture.
Fans can look forward to the next episode, featuring a surprising sports challenge with TXT's Beomgyu and gymnast Yang Hak Seon, set to air on the BTS YouTube channel on the 28th at 9 PM.
