BTS's J-Hope and Suga Step Up with Generous Donations for Wildfire Relief

BTS members J-Hope and Suga have made significant contributions to aid the recovery efforts from devastating wildfires in South Korea. Their agency, Big Hit Music, announced that both artists have donated substantial sums to help those affected by the wildfires in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.

Through their agency, the duo expressed their hopes for a swift resolution to the ongoing wildfire situation and for the affected communities to quickly return to their normal lives. They also wished for their donations to bring some comfort and hope to those in need.

J-Hope donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, earmarked for emergency relief, community recovery, and support for vulnerable groups affected by disasters. This act of kindness follows his previous donations for flood relief and assistance to families of air crash victims in 2023.

Suga also contributed 100 million won, this time through the Korean Red Cross, to provide essential supplies like food, beverages, and daily necessities to wildfire victims. Notably, Suga had previously donated a similar amount in 2022 to help those affected by wildfires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Samcheok, Gangwon.

BTS and their fanbase, ARMY, have been actively involved in various charitable activities since 2017, including the 'LOVE MYSELF' campaign, which promotes self-love and the eradication of violence. Their consistent efforts highlight their commitment to making a positive impact beyond the music industry.
