BTS's J-Hope and Suga Step Up to Aid Wildfire Recovery Efforts

BTS members J-Hope and Suga have made significant donations to aid the recovery efforts from recent wildfires in South Korea. Their agency, Big Hit Music, announced on the 27th that both artists contributed funds to support the affected areas of Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.

Through their agency, they shared, "We hope the ongoing wildfire situation is resolved quickly. We pray for those who have lost their homes and are facing hardships, as well as for the safety of all the firefighters. We hope our donation brings some comfort and hope."

J-Hope donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, earmarked for emergency relief, community recovery, and support for vulnerable groups affected by disasters. This follows his previous donations for flood relief in 2023 and assistance for families of a passenger plane accident.

Suga also contributed 100 million won through the Korean Red Cross, which will be used to provide essential items like food and daily necessities to wildfire victims. He had previously donated the same amount in 2022 to help those affected by wildfires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Samcheok, Gangwon.

Since 2017, BTS and their agency have been actively involved in various charitable activities, including the 'LOVE MYSELF' campaign, which promotes self-love and anti-violence messages. Their fanbase, ARMY, also consistently participates in charitable acts supporting underprivileged children and youth.
