BTS's J-Hope and Suga Donate 100 Million Won Each for Wildfire Relief
BTS members J-Hope and Suga have made generous donations of 100 million won each to aid the recovery from recent wildfires in South Korea. Their agency, Big Hit Music, announced on the 27th that the donations are intended to support the affected areas of Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam. Both artists expressed their hopes for a swift end to the wildfires and for the affected residents and firefighters to return to their normal lives soon, wishing their contributions to bring some comfort and hope.
J-Hope donated through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, with the funds allocated for emergency disaster relief and support for victims. He has a history of consistent donations, including for flood relief and aiding families affected by a passenger plane accident last year.
Suga contributed his donation via the Korean Red Cross, targeting the provision of food and daily necessities for wildfire victims. This isn't his first act of kindness towards wildfire recovery; in 2022, he also donated 100 million won for restoration efforts after wildfires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Samcheok, Gangwon.
