BOYNEXTDOOR's 'I LOVE YOU' Hits Big on Spotify Charts Post-Activities

BOYNEXTDOOR continues to ride the wave of success even after wrapping up their official activities. Their digital single 'I LOVE YOU', released on January 6, has climbed to the top of Spotify Japan's Viral Chart as of January 20. This chart highlights songs that have seen a sudden spike in streaming numbers or have been widely shared and listened to, offering a snapshot of a track's local popularity. The song also secured the second-highest position among K-pop artists on Spotify's Viral Charts in South Korea and Taiwan on the same day.

Additionally, 'I LOVE YOU' made its mark on Japan's Oricon Weekly Streaming Ranking for the second week of January, jumping from 17th to 10th place within a week. It also charted at 25th on Billboard Japan's Hot 100, maintaining its position for two consecutive weeks. The track improved its standing on the Streaming Songs chart by seven spots to 14th, setting a new record for 5th generation K-pop boy groups.

In domestic charts, a key indicator of mainstream success, the song is performing well, moving from 32nd to 18th on the weekly chart and holding steady at 12th on Melon's daily chart. It has also topped Apple Music's 'Today's Top 100' in South Korea for 12 consecutive days.

BOYNEXTDOOR is set to kick off their first solo tour, 'BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1'', in Japan starting January 30. The tour will cover six cities with 12 performances, beginning in Tokyo and moving through Aichi, Osaka, Miyagi, Fukuoka, and Kanagawa, showcasing their growing international appeal.
