BLACKPINK's Jennie to Release Her First Solo Album 'Ruby'

BLACKPINK's Jennie is set to release her first solo full-length album titled 'Ruby' on March 7. According to her agency, OA Entertainment, 'Ruby' will include a total of 15 tracks across various genres, including her hit single 'Mantra' released last October. The album is expected to highlight Jennie's vast musical potential.

Notably, 'Ruby' features collaborations with global artists such as Childish Gambino, Doja Cat, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis, drawing significant attention. Jennie previously made waves with 'Mantra', which topped the iTunes 'Top Song' charts in 47 countries and regions, including the US, Brazil, Singapore, the Philippines, and Mexico, and entered the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks. She also became the first K-pop female solo artist to top the US iTunes 'Top Song' chart, igniting a global 'Mantra' craze.

Anticipation is high for how Jennie will showcase her unique musical color with 'Ruby'. Additionally, Jennie has been announced as a solo performer at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the largest music festivals in the US, scheduled for April 13 and 20 in Indio, California.
